Greece!!
Greece has won!

I admit I was wrong, I did not think it would do it but I have to say her performance in the final was magnificent!

I was delighted with Malta and I had an each way bet on Latvia if tehy finished in the top 4 so thanks France for scuppering that for me!! :))

Anyway, hope everyone enjoyed all the revews, comments and opinions that I did. Hopefully, all being well, I'll see you all in Athens next year! :))

didn't think they wud win b4 2nit but but they put on SUPERB show so well done
glad malta did so well
was really rooting for switz

when all is said and done, RTe and Ireladn really have to go back to teh drawing board.no wonder they didn't get thru

Yes I too missed out on clawing some money back on Latvia - I had each way when you could get 40-1...so to miss out on it by just one point in that final vote was rather annoying to say the least!
Thought the performance from Helena in the competition was pretty rigid - she looked nervous to me and didn't smile once - much better when she did the reprise at the end though.

Greece - and especially Helena - is a good winner ! She was robbed in 2001 but that horrrible " Everybody " !!

Peter, I am happy our nightmare entry from Norway didn t make it !! Such a big hype and only coming 9 th. This was the best message the televoters could give to that fake, still they qualified Norway for the final but hopefully they ll come up with a good song/singer next time.

Denmark and Latvia were also nothing special - wonder how they did that well, especially Latvia, who only finished 10 th at the semi ( Poland should have been # 10 ! ).

Anway, a great ESC, great winner and you and the other guys did a great job !!

Greece finished a VERY distant third in 2001.
